Centauri Health Solutions (“Centauri”), an innovative healthcare technology and services company, today announced its Compass Best Benefits, Compass PremiumAssist, Risk Adjustment, Quality, Insights and Core Platforms have achieved renewal of their Certified status for information security by HITRUST. In addition, the organization’s Compass Eligibility Enrollment Solutions and Compass Out-of-State platforms have achieved their first HITRUST Certification.
HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certified status demonstrates that Centauri’s platforms for its Risk Adjustment, Quality, and Insights products, as well as its Compass platforms for its hospital and health plan Eligibility and Enrollment and Out-of-State Medicaid services, have met key regulations and industry-defined requirements and are appropriately managing risk.
“Centauri is honored to once again earn this gold-standard certification of our platforms,” said Adam Miller, CEO of Centauri Health Solutions. “I’m especially proud that this year’s Certification not only includes our health plan solutions, but also encompasses key hospital systems for the first time. We are pleased to demonstrate to our clients that, even in the toughest of industry environments over the past few years, we are continually focused on the highest standards for data protection and information security.”
This achievement places Centauri in an elite group of organizations worldwide that have earned this certification. By including federal and state regulations, standards, and frameworks, and incorporating a risk-based approach, the HITRUST Assurance Program helps organizations address security and data protection challenges through a comprehensive and flexible framework of prescriptive and scalable security controls.
“In today’s ever-changing threat landscape, HITRUST is continually innovating to find new and creative approaches to address challenges,” said Jeremy Huval, Chief Innovation Officer, HITRUST. “Centauri Health Solutions’ HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year Certification is evidence that they are at the forefront of industry best practices for information risk management and compliance.”
Centauri passed all 19 Assessment Domains (550 items) for the Certification, which is valid for two years.
