Coronet Wins Cyber Defense Magazine’s Global Award for Best SaaS/Cloud Security

Pioneer of security-as-a-service recognized for its AI-driven data breach protection platform that effortlessly protects small and medium-sized businesses

Coronet, a world leader in security as-a-service powered by AI and cloud, today announced that it has won the Cyber Defense Global Award in the category of Best SaaS/Cloud Security solution from Cyber Defense Magazine, the industry’s leading electronic information security magazine. A pioneer of data breach protection for small and medium-sized businesses that use cloud applications, such as Slack, Office 365, Dropbox and more, Coronet was selected out of 3,000 cybersecurity companies by a panel of independent information security experts after months of review.

“The cloud-applications that so many small businesses rely on for productivity and efficiency are increasingly vulnerable to cyberattack, and the security protections inherent to each SaaS product are not built to withstand the frequency and sophistication of today’s advanced threats,” said Guy Moskowitz, co-founder and CEO, Coronet. “We are on a mission to democratize cybersecurity so that every business, regardless of size, industry, location or revenue, can afford to proactively and appropriately protect their assets from attack. We’re thankful to Cyber Defense Magazine and the judges for recognizing our commitment to this underserved population, and we look forward to continuing to serve the small business community for many years to come.

Earlier this year, Coronet was named to the 2019 Emerging Vendor’s List by CRN, a brand of The Channel Company. This annual list recognizes leading suppliers in their industry committed to bringing technological innovation to service providers across seven categories: Cloud, Data Center, Security, Big Data, Unified Communications, Internet of Things (IoT) and Storage. For the second year in a row, Coronet was recognized in the security category for championing its channel partners with enterprise-grade protections for their customers with low cost of operation and recurring revenue. Additionally this year, the Info Security Products Guide named Coronet a Gold winner for Security Products and Solutions for Small Businesses and SOHO.

“We’re thrilled to name Coronet a winner in our Global Awards program for Best SaaS/Cloud Security,” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher, Cyber Defense Magazine. “Coronet won this award because they have pioneered an innovative approach to defeating the next generation of cyber criminals.”

Built on AI, Coronet helps secure data within cloud/SaaS platforms using automatic Data Leakage Prevention (DLP), suspicious user behavior detection, malware and ransomware protection, endpoint security and compliance, and real-time auditing and automatic remediation. The platform combines critical device, network, behavioral and cloud security elements, into one, fully automated cloud-based system, designed with the simplicity, autonomy and price that all sized businesses can afford.
