Phoenix Innovation LLC is the brainchild of Mr. Amit Mahajan. Along with Director Ameya Kandalkar, he spearheaded the idea of the start-up. The duo identified the need to solve the reverse logistics, supply chain, and robotic automation challenges across the globe. So, Amit and Ameya, with their team of dedicated professionals, embarked on a new journey. The group started in 2016, intending to provide a range of smart Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled and AI-driven products.
In the domain of the supply chain, reverse logistics is typically an afterthought. However, in the world of hi-tech electronics and easy consumer returns, reverse logistics plays a key role in delivering the best possible value for retailers. Identifying the need ‘MIDAS,’ a data-driven inventory routing engine was launched. It is an analytics-driven solution that enables reverse logistics operations to determine the appropriate disposition of the product after going through series of operational checks. Furthermore, the software suite can be tailored and integrated with warehouse management systems (WMS) across industries to maximize the asset value of the returned product.
Griffyn Robotech came into existence in 2018 as part of Phoenix Innovation LLC. Over time it has grown from 20 people to now 100+ strong family. During this period, the company grew by diversifying into product development and strong consulting services. Griffyn Robotech combines the power of AI (Artificial Intelligence), Robotics, and Engineering to Improve lives.
To provide consistent output and avoid subjectivity in the cosmetic grading system, ‘DEEPSIGHT‘ was launched. It eliminates the human weaknesses of human graders and helps the business establish a relationship of trust with the customer by delivering the quality device praised to them. Often cosmetic variations are not visible to the human operator. DEEPSIGHT reveals the defects by superimposing them on the raw image by color-coding the highlights. The product was patented in August 2019 in the USA.
2019 was very fruitful for the group as the it established offices in Canada and UK as Phoenix Analytica and Griffyn Robotech, respectively. In terms of business, the company is continuously growing by introducing industry-relevant products to provide solutions.
When the world was struck by waves of the Covid-19 pandemic, Phoenix Innovation introduced a new range of affordable and portable bedside ventilator solutions. ‘SHWAAS‘, a small ventilator, offered cloud connectivity so that the necessary data can be collected and analyzed. With Versatile – Invasive, Non-invasive, and CPAP features, SHWAAS significantly boosted healthcare facilities.
Other products of the group are SCM INSIGHTS (A Supply Chain Analytics platform)and OPTIVITY (Flawless gear, cylinder, crankshaft, and surface inspection solutions & optical character recognition).
In the age of advancement, strengthening Embedded Design capability, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Engineering was required.
In 2021, the group acquired Pune-based Bit Mapper Integration Technologies (BMIT). The group plans to blend the high-end FPGA expertise of BMIT and embedded designing with its solutions. In the words of Mr. Amit Mahajan, “the acquisition of Bit Mapper Integration Technologies was a well-planned approach to facilitate our customers with better and more effective embedded designs and automated solutions.” Speaking further on the acquisition, he said, “We are thrilled to advance our embedded design and engineering services with BMIT. It will help us leverage their engineering expertise and create more powerful automation products and solutions for our customers.”
Phoenix Group stands tall with being functional in four countries and employs over 400+ people collectively. The group has its headquarters in Atlanta, GA, and is expanding its scope of operations continuously.
